How to enable HTTPS on a domain
To use HTTPS, the domain must point to the right server, the website needs a valid certificate and the web service must allow HTTPS.

What enabling HTTPS means
HTTPS makes the connection between the browser and the website encrypted. It also avoids many browser security warnings.
It is not enough to type https://. The server must have a valid certificate for the name you open.
What to check
Review these points:
- the domain or subdomain points to the correct web server;
- the Web hosting service is active;
- there is a certificate for the exact name, for example
www.example.com; - the web zone protocol allows HTTPS;
- pending web, DNS or certificate changes have been activated.
www and the bare domain
A certificate must match the name opened in the browser. If you want both example.com and www.example.com to work, both names must be reviewed.
If the browser says the site is not secure
The certificate may be missing, expired, not matching the opened name, or the page may still load old HTTP elements.
