What is SFTP
SFTP is a secure protocol for uploading, downloading and managing website files. It replaces classic FTP because it encrypts the connection.

Secure access to files
SFTP lets you connect to the server and manage website files securely.
It is used to upload pages, images, documents or application files. It is not the same as logging in to the control panel or managing DNS.

- an SFTP client;
- server;
- user;
- password;
